# Blips & Markers Config

DZ Customs supports configurable map blips and world markers for each shop location.

***

### Global Blip Settings

Global blip defaults are configured with:

```lua
Config.Blips = {
    enabled = true,
    sprite = 72,
    colour = 3,
    scale = 0.8,
    name = 'DZ Customs'
}
```

These values are used when a shop does not define its own blip override.

***

### Disable All Blips

```lua
Config.Blips.enabled = false
```

***

### Per-Shop Blip Override

Each shop can define its own blip:

```lua
blip = {
    enabled = true,
    sprite = 446,
    colour = 5,
    scale = 0.8,
    name = 'Benny\'s Original Motor Works'
}
```

***

### Disable One Shop Blip

```lua
blip = {
    enabled = false
}
```

***

### Global Marker Settings

Markers are configured with:

```lua
Config.Markers = {
    enabled = true,
    type = 1,
    scale = {
        x = 0.9,
        y = 0.9,
        z = 0.9
    },
    colour = {
        r = 124,
        g = 58,
        b = 237,
        a = 170
    },
    drawDistance = 35.0,
    zOffset = -1.0,
    bobUpAndDown = true,
    faceCamera = true,
    rotate = false
}
```

***

### Disable All Markers

```lua
Config.Markers.enabled = false
```

***

### Enable or Disable Marker Per Shop

Enable marker:

```lua
marker = true
```

Disable marker:

```lua
marker = false
```

***

### Marker Type Examples

Cylinder marker:

```lua
type = 1
```

Mechanic/customs style floating marker:

```lua
type = 36
```

***

### Marker Size

```lua
scale = {
    x = 0.9,
    y = 0.9,
    z = 0.9
}
```

For larger zone-style cylinder markers:

```lua
scale = {
    x = 4.5,
    y = 4.5,
    z = 0.35
}
```

***

### Marker Colour

```lua
colour = {
    r = 124,
    g = 58,
    b = 237,
    a = 170
}
```

Values are RGB plus alpha.

Alpha controls transparency.

***

### Draw Distance

```lua
drawDistance = 35.0
```

The marker only draws when the player is within this distance.

Lower values may slightly improve performance.
