# Troubleshooting

#### **I cannot open the admin menu**

Make sure the player has:

```
add_ace group.admin dz_admin.open allow
```

and is assigned to the group:

```
add_principal identifier.license:YOUR_LICENSE_HERE group.admin
```

#### **I cannot toggle duty**

Make sure the player has:

```
add_ace group.admin dz_admin.duty allow
```

#### Menu options are disabled

The player is either:

* not on duty
* missing the required ACE permission

#### Admin logs are empty

Make sure database logging is enabled:

```
Config.Logging.Database = true
```

#### Discord logs are not sending

Check:

```
Config.Logging.Discord.Enabled = true
Config.Logging.Discord.Webhook = 'YOUR_WEBHOOK_URL'
```

#### Offline lookup does not show correct records

Check your ESX identifier format. ESX multicharacter often stores users as:

```
char1:licensehere
```

DZ Admin includes identifier normalization for bans, warnings, and notes.
